The wheel of labor struggle is going pretty well all over the world these days. In Egypt, Real Estate tax collectors are escalating their protests against the betrayal of the Minister of Finance. Also, Nile Cottons factory workers are on strike. This is besides the struggle of Mahalla and Tanta workers and Justice experts.

In South Korea, Workers are protesting their low standards of living and the effects of the credit crisis.

The workers are not stopping in India and Britain also.

64th Anniversary of Hiroshima Atomic Bombing

Add-board campus الجامعة التي أصبحت لوحة إعلانات

This is really pissing me off. Mansoura uni is turning into a huge add-board in an unmistakable sign of sweeping wave of capitalization in Egypt. You can see in Doritos in the first two images campaigning for their products. In the third one, "Haram" buses can exclusively enter the campus according to a contract between the uni administration and ruling NDP-related-bussinessmen-owned corporation. The last one is an add to "Eissa" car services inside the campus. I am really sick of these adds and sick of the capitalism they stand for.

Six Years Of US occupation Of Iraq ستة أعوام من الإحتلال الأمريكي للعراق

Today, 6 years of US occupation of Iraq passes. Now, it became clear that there is no ethical justifications for this war or any other war. France on Strike فرنسا في إضراب

France went totally yesterday on strike protesting the governmental policies to deal with credit crisis. This strike is the first national one after the last one in 29 January. Huge protests were associated with the strike. Around 400,000 workers and students demonstrated in Paris protesting against what Sarkozi’s policies dealing with the credit crisis. Polls say that around 75% of French people are supporting that strike.

US:Jailing Kids for Cash أمريكا:سجن الأطفال من أجل المال

As many as 5,000 children in Pennsylvania have been found guilty, and up to 2,000 of them jailed, by two corrupt judges who received kickbacks from the builders and owners of private prison facilities that benefited. The two judges pleaded guilty in a stunning case of greed and corruption that is still unfolding. Judges Mark A. Ciavarella Jr. and Michael T. Conahan received $2.6 million in kickbacks while imprisoning children who often had no access to a lawyer. The case offers an extraordinary glimpse into the shameful private prison industry that is flourishing in the United States.
